A Spiritual Gift Definition

The spiritual gift of Interpretation of Tongues. The Bible explains the proper use of the Tongues gift within the church. Accordingly, it should be accompanied by a gifted Interpreter so that the whole body may benefit (1 Corinthians 14:5, 26-28). So, in 1 Corinthians 12:10, the Apostle Paul lists the spiritual gift of Interpretation of Tongues among the many available gifts. In verse 30, Paul makes it clear that this spiritual gift is not available to everyone. However, when one gifted in Tongues serves with a gifted Interpreter, their combined ministry functions like the Prophecy spiritual gift.
